Don’t miss Dr. Jill Barnholtz-Sloan’s keynote speech at the UTHealth Houston’s Special Conference on Biostatistics in the New Era of Data-Driven Science. If you’re attending this conference, you can hear her talk about utilizing data to make advancements for cancer.

Large-scale, multi-modal data sets are important for driving cancer research, and how we share and access that data is equally important. During Dr. Barnholtz-Sloan’s talk, you’ll hear about:

  • the data resources from many large, NCI-funded studies that you can access.
  • the cloud compute workspaces and analytical workflows you can use.
  • how to access NCI resources.
  • success stories where data has had an impact on cancer (with a focus on brain tumors).

This conference is hosted by the department of biostatistics and data science at the University of Texas Houston School of Public Health.
