Innovative Concept Award for Small Businesses Developing Disruptive Technologies for Pediatric and/or Rare Cancer

If your data science work has the potential to create new and improved approaches to prevention, detection, and care in pediatric and rare cancers, apply for the NCI Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Innovative Concept Award.

This award offers $300,000 to eligible small businesses. The deadline to submit your white paper for this contract funding opportunity is June 5, 2024. The deadline for submitting your proposal is September 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., ET.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Your proposal must address specific topic areas. Refer to the Concept Award Solicitation for more information on those topics (see the “Introduction” section).
  • This funding mechanism isn’t available for the development of research tools.
  • This award offers $300,000 to eligible small businesses.
    • What constitutes a small business? You must have no more than 500 employees.
