cutaneous leiomyoma

(kyoo-TAY-nee-us LY-oh-my-OH-muh)
A benign tumor that arises from smooth muscle tissue in a hair follicle, forming a papule. Cutaneous leiomyomas (or leiomyomata) can be painful in the presence of cold or tactile stimuli.
