Treatment of recurrent melanoma may include the following:

• Surgery to remove the tumor.
• Hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion.
• Radiation therapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
• Palliative treatment with biologic therapy.
• A clinical trial of biologic therapy and/or chemotherapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
