PAD

This combination contains the chemotherapy drugs bortezomib (PS-341) and doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin) and the steroid hormone dexamethasone. Combinations usually work better than single drugs because different drugs kill cancer cells in different ways.

Drugs in the PAD combination:
P = Bortezomib (PS-341)
A = Doxorubicin Hydrochloride (Adriamycin)
D = Dexamethasone

Each of the drugs in this combination is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat cancer or conditions related to cancer.
