Use in Cancer
Penpulimab-kcqx is approved to treat:
- Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (a type of head and neck cancer). It is used in adults whose cancer does not form masses of cells that contain keratin. It is given:
- with gemcitabine hydrochloride and either cisplatin or carboplatin as the first treatment in patients whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body or has come back
- alone in patients whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body and got worse during or after treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy and at least one other therapy
Penpulimab-kcqx is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
