Use in Cancer
Tepotinib hydrochloride is approved to treat:
- Non-small cell lung cancer that has a certain mutation in the MET gene. It is used in adults whose disease has metastasized.
This use is approved under FDA’s Accelerated Approval Program. As a condition of approval, confirmatory trial(s) must show that tepotinib hydrochloride provides a clinical benefit in these patients.
Tepotinib hydrochloride is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
