Join virtually on Monday July 29th
7:30 - 9:00 AM ET

This virtual Community of Practice (CoP) seminar session will bring together early-stage investigators from Africa to discuss how to find funding for cancer research. Global Training for Research and Equity in Cancer (GlobTREC) Program CoP seminars serve as a forum for investigators to network, exchange knowledge, and share resources.

The GlobTREC program, also known as the Strengthening Institutional Capacity to Conduct Global Cancer Research in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) program, uses the National Institutes of Health (NIH) D43 funding mechanism to support global research training and build research environments to conduct locally relevant cancer research in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This NCI flagship program is designed to support research training led by U.S.-based, cancer research–intensive institutions working in collaboration with institutions in LMICs.
