Bridgette Tobiassen leads the Administrative Resource Center (ARC) in facilitating administrative processes involved in conducting the research activities and functions of DCB research areas.

Ms. Tobiassen has expertise in budget, Human Resources, and logistics. She manages the DCB operating and grant portfolio budgets. Her knowledge and experience in federal budgets, administrative management, and NIH financial systems/resources allows her to be versatile for DCB’s many changing needs.    

When describing her job, Ms. Tobiassen says, “I enjoy working with people that are passionate about their work, and support each other while doing it. Everyone has been affected by cancer is some fashion, so it feels good to be doing work to help contribute to curing cancer.”  

 

Background

Before coming to our division, Bridgette was a Budget Analyst in the office of the Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).
