NCI Frederick Organization and Leadership

NCI Frederick is led by the NCI Office of the Director. Local operations are managed by federal government employees in NCI Frederick’s Office of Scientific Operations (OSO) and Management Operations Support Branch (MOSB).

Office of Scientific Operations (OSO)

OSO oversees the development and coordination of contract and contractor requirements at FNLCR. It is responsible for administrative management and program planning, with many of its staff serving as contracting officer representatives for national lab research and research support programs. OSO also manages communications, community relations, and outreach and education initiatives for NCI Frederick.

Management Operations Support Branch (MOSB)

MOSB plans, directs, and coordinates the national lab contract and business management activities for FNLCR with its staff of contracting officers and contract specialists at NCI Frederick.
