Queen’s University Belfast – US National Cancer Institute Joint Symposium

This Joint Symposium between Queen's University Belfast (QUB) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) builds on the success achieved through the Ireland - Northern Ireland - National Cancer Institute Cancer Consortium, which has done so much for cancer research and cancer care on the island of Ireland. The Consortium grew out of the Good Friday Agreement which brought peace and reconciliation to the island of Ireland. The symposium showcases the work of doctoral students who are co-mentored by supervisors from QUB and NCI and features speakers from QUB, the NCI, and University College Dublin (UCD) on current and future initiatives in cancer research. The Symposium coincides with St. Patricks Week and the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.

The Symposium will be held at the National Institutes of Health campus and live-streamed.
