John Demchok, M.S.

John Demchok is the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the Clinical Data Center (CDC) and the Biospecimen Core Resource (BCR), key components of the NCI Genome Characterization Pipeline. He is also the final reviewer of clinical data that is uploaded to the Genomic Data Commons (GDC).  
 

Background

Mr. Demchok started working at NCI in 2010 as the Clinical Data Quality Manager for The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) program. He continued his duties at the NCI Center of Cancer Genomics, which was integrated into DCB in 2025.
