Liming Yang, Ph.D.

Dr. Liming Yang has expertise in cancer genomics and molecular characterizations in clinical trials and genomic data analysis. He also has special interests in new molecular characterization and analysis technologies and data sharing policies. 

Dr. Yang is also the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Genomics Characterization Centers (GCCs) and Genomic Data Commons (GDC), which are components of the NCI Genome Characterization Pipeline. 

Background

Dr. Yang's background includes pathology and bioinformatics. Before the NCI Center for Cancer Genomics was integrated into DCB, he worked there as a team lead and the Program Director for the Genomic Data Analysis Network (GDAN).
