A radioimmunoconjugate comprised of the chimeric monoclonal antibody girentuximab conjugated with the gamma-emitting radioisotope indium In 111. Indium In 111-DOTA-girentuximab binds to G250, allowing the localization of G250-expressing tumor cells using gamma scintigraphy.
Found in the majority of renal cell carcinomas (RCCs), G250 or carbonic anhydrase isozyme IX (CA IX) is a cell surface tumor-associated antigen (TAA).
