Systems Thinking Approach in Implementation Science: Understanding the Layers of Health Inequity at AACR 2022
Dr. Patti Gravitt, CGH Deputy Director, will present a "Systems Thinking Approach in Implementation Science: Understanding the Layers of Health Inequity," at the AACR session, "Implementation Science: Efforts to Improve Cancer Health Equity." The session will explore why applying a health equity lens to implementation science is crucial to achieving maximum impact on cancer control, how a systems approach in designing implementation research can illuminate high leverage, cross-cutting implementation strategies, and how rigor and reproducibility can be maintained using pragmatic designs. Sessions are virtual and in person.

Dr. Satish Gopal will present "Perspectives from the United States National Cancer Institute" at the multidisciplinary symposium, The Soul of Medicine in the Last Year of Life: Novel Solutions to Palliative Care Access Across Economic and Cultural Divides. Global Health Catalyst Summit @ Johns Hopkins 2021 Keynote Address
