The Clinical Imaging Steering Committee (CISC) meets quarterly to evaluate and prioritize large phase 2 and phase 3 trials for which the primary hypothesis is imaging-based. In addition, CISC members provide valuable imaging expertise for other steering committees' evaluations of therapeutic concepts and discussions that include an imaging component. The CISC's membership comprises NCTN group representatives, imaging representatives from other NCI-supported programs, community oncologists, biostatisticians, patient advocates, subject matter experts, and NCI staff.
