CRCHD Professional Advancement Virtual Engagement Series (PAVES)

The logo for CURE. CURE is in blue letters; the right part of the U extends upward to become an umbrella with three arms of different shades holding the same part of the U. Below this logo is text that reads “Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences” in purple letters; smaller grey text below the acronym explanation reads “A program of the National Institutes of Health.”

Professional Advancement Virtual Engagement Seminar (PAVES) was developed by the Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities to provide meaningful career development and resources to support biomedical and social scientists to achieve research independence.

On the last Wednesday of each month from 3:00-4:00 pm Eastern (times and dates may vary depending on presenter availability), post-doctoral student scientists, clinician scientists, researchers, and others join to explore NIH funding opportunities, identify new resources to advance their scientific career, and acquire new insights and skills in the research grant proposal development process.

Please email PAVES@nih.gov to join PAVES and/or to submit your recommendations for future topics.
